  1. What are personal data?

“Personal data” means any information or data that can directly (e.g., your name) or indirectly (e.g., through pseudonymous data like a unique ID number) identify you. 1. How do we collect your personal data?

We collect and process different categories of personal data from you as follows:

  1. When using the email address office@foxcom.ro [such as accessing the FOX Romania Facebook page or the www.foxmezeluri.ro website, hereinafter referred to as the “website”), or from FOX product labels, etc.].

The data you enter into the email are processed based on our legitimate interest in responding to your request and/or keeping a record of your complaint, request for fulfillment of requirements, etc. This data is stored for 6 months.

This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, the region or general location where your computer or device accessing the internet is located, browser type, operating system, and other usage information related to your use of our website, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to better design our website to meet the needs of our users. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose issues with our servers and to manage our website, analyze trends, track visitor movements, and collect general demographic information to support identifying visitor preferences.

We collect and process different categories of personal data from you as a user of our Facebook page (hereinafter referred to as “our page”), which, according to European Union data protection laws, gives us the role of data controller for such data. On our page, we process the following personal data:

– If you send a message to the page, we have access to your public profile (including your username), as well as the content and date/time of that message. The messages may be used, for example, in contests or to reward random winners, in which case we may validate winners through private messages and request additional information (delivery details).

– If you comment on a post on the page, we have access to your public profile (including your username), as well as the content and date/time of that comment.

– If you interact with the content of our page (like, share), we can view your public profile (including your username) and the reaction.

When you interact with our page, Facebook processes certain personal data, which allows us to access aggregated statistics. These do not include personal data directly, but are limited to:

· The number of clicks on contact details; · The number of page views; · The number of page previews (hover over the page name); · The number of page likes; · The number of people who have viewed content from the page; · The number of page recommendations; · The number of interactions with page content (like, share, comment, etc.); · The number of views of videos on the page for more than 3 seconds; · The number of fans; · The number of people who view our promotional campaigns.

When we customize the audience for our posts or advertising campaigns on Facebook, we set categories of interests that may include you. Even though these categories are based on personal data processing, we do not have access to this data; Facebook provides us directly with the categories as it has established them. For this reason, only Facebook processes your personal data to establish interest categories, which you can read about in Facebook’s privacy notice.

This data is processed in our legitimate interest to promote our brand or product, as applicable, and to prove, if necessary, correspondence with you. The data is kept for the entire duration that our page is active.

You should understand that all of this data, and more, is always available to Facebook, as the platform owner (and therefore the operator of your personal data). For details on Facebook’s processing, please refer to its own privacy notice.

We do not use your data to send you marketing communications.

Providing personal data is not mandatory, but you should understand that Facebook operates uniformly for all pages and users, so if you interact with our page (which you may choose not to do), we will automatically have access to certain data about you, as described above.
